Asia / Азия
Asian countries and the same transcontinental states as in Europe, each at its full land area. Circle area equals catalog land area. The picture is not a map of the region.
How to read it. Radius is sqrt(area / pi) times the site display scale. Pan, zoom, and hide labels with Aa. Overlap is avoided by packing, so two circles touch because of their sizes, not because the countries share a border.
48 places. Largest: Russian Federation (16 376 870 km²). Next: China (9 388 210 km²). Smallest: Maldives (300 km²). Combined catalog area 47 336 838 km².
Oceania is a separate world, so Australia and the Pacific islands are not here. Russia is one circle and dominates the picture because most of its land is in Asia. Taiwan, Macao and Palestine beyond the West Bank and Gaza row are not separate catalog objects. Source: legacy RoundObject country areas. For every catalog country at once, open the All countries world.
Палестина представлена строкой West Bank and Gaza.
